PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The McKinley Altitude Simulator™ delivers a clean and cool flow of hypoxic air, simulating altitudes up to 6200m (9.6% O2).

It offers users the ability to train in all simulated altitude modalities:

  • Live High + Train Low (LH + TL)
  • Live Low + Train High (LL + TH)
  • Intermittent Hypoxic Training (IHT)/Hypoxic Training (HT)
  • Intermittent Hypoxic Exposure (IHE)

Significant post altitude improvements have been reported in VO2MAX (1), cycling peak power (2), and 800- to 3000-m run time (3). In as little as 24 days of using simulated altitude it has been possible to elicit a 1-2% improvement in 800- to 3000-m run time (3). That’s a staggering 30-60m advantage over 3000m, it may mean all the difference to standing on the podium.
